It’s that time of year, when things have slowed enough to allow us to spend some time to prepare for the fall season. To that end, we will be hosting our first annual Dust Bunny Hunt. These little creatures like to huddle in all the corners of our rooms, and it is our privilege to hunt them to extinction. So, mark your calendars for Saturday, July 26th. We will meet from 9am 12noon and split up throughout the campus to clean the storage rooms, tech booths, wood shop and stages. Be sure to wear work clothes, and you may like to bring some gloves.![]()
We will provide lunch. This is a great chance to get to know others that serve on the Staging Crew, and we will make it as fun as possible. We are greatful for the tools that we have been resourced with as a church, and this is just another way for us to glorify Christ by taking care of all that we have been entrusted with. Please let us know if you will not be able to join us.
As you know, we use Planning Center for all team scheduling and to facilitate easy communication with all of you. So here’s a link to it for easy access.
I am excited to be wrapping up the new stage set for Blake’s upcoming series on Ruth. The ideas are coming together as we get our first opportunity, other than Christmas and Easter to get to see something fresh on the stage. I’ll post pictures as soon as we’ve got all the pieces in place.
I was just brainstorming today about how we could create a larger sense of community within our teams here at Watermark, and then Les emailed me his new tool for doing just that. So here is our version of the same; a place for you to tell us all a bit more about yourself. I hope that we can share stories, laughs, and prayers. I look forward to how this might grow us as a team, as we strive to serve Christ with our gifts.
